Procrastination is essentially a lack of belief in yourself. Some recent studies have shown that procrastination tends to be one of two things. It can be as a result of fears – fear of rejection, fear of not being good enough, fear of being criticised, fear of bad consequences, etc. Alternatively, it can be from having a busy life and being really bad at prioritising.
